"Unlock the secrets to academic success with this guide. Based on the proven habits of top-performing students, this insider's guide offers practical tips and insights to improve your study skills.
#1:-Work Accomplished = Time spent x Intensity
It's better to study for 1 hour with 100% intensity than to study for 5 hours with 50% intensity.
recognize your productive hours.when you adopt the most difficult task in your most productive hours, the task doesn't remain that difficult.
#2:-planned leisure time
The majority of high-achievers emphasized the importance of setting aside daily time for leisure pursuits such as watching TV, spending quality time with family members, and engaging in social media. These individuals were disciplined in organizing their leisure time to ensure it did not interfere with their studies.
#3:-Learning from previous years
question papers is crucial when preparing for an exam. Many questions are likely to be repeated from previous years' papers, making them an excellent resource for exam preparation. Additionally, reviewing previous year papers provides insight into the format and structure of questions that may be asked. To further enhance your exam preparation, you can also refer to answer scripts of toppers available on the internet, which can give you a clear idea of how to represent answers effectively."
#4:-If the exam were tomorrow, what topic would I be the least happy about?
It can be easy to stick to what we already know when we're learning or studying, whether it's flipping to a familiar page in a textbook or playing the same guitar songs we already know. However, true learning occurs when we challenge ourselves and address our weaknesses. If something is too easy, we won't improve. Therefore, to accelerate our learning, we should identify our weaknesses and concentrate on improving them through targeted drills.
#5:-Manage your social media
It is crucial to maintain a focused study environment by keeping your phone, laptop, and gaming devices outside of the room. If you wish to read on your phone, place the phone in focus mode, allowing only the necessary app to operate and locking all other apps. However, if you're reading a book, it's recommended to keep the phone in another room to avoid distractions.
#6:-Consistency is the Key to Success
During the Trailer launch of M.S. Dhoni biopic in 2016, a student asked Dhoni about the ways that could help her maintain composure in stressful situations like exams. Dhoni replied that he learnt a life lesson from his father long back when he asked for his permission to play cricket during his board exams. Do you know what his father replied?
He said "Agar saal bhar mehnat kiye hoge, toh ek din se farak nahi padega" "Agar saal bhar mehnat nahi kiye hoge, toh bhi ek din se farak nahi padega"
(If you have studied for the whole year, then one day won't make a difference.
If you haven't studied for the whole year, then also one day won't make a difference")
#7:-Making the best use of Online Resources:
YouTube is a powerful tool for learning, with exceptional educators who can help you achieve scores above 90% even with a single day of study before an exam. To find the best teacher for a particular subject, you may need to conduct some research. Once you've identified a teacher who suits your needs, you'll be able to save considerable time while still achieving good results, even if you only study one day before the exam.
